Domainz are one of New Zealands top domain management and hosting companies. Their site services both new and existing clients but also their support staff. It is the main tool they both use to find all the specialist services Domainz provides. Domainz.net.nz needs to provide relevant information and cues to help users find it.
Many visitors to the old domainz website found it hard to answer their questions. Simple things like consistent and user focused language had been ignored. Helpful links to possible other solutions were missing. A consistent visual language was missing as well. Different people updating various pages had slowly created a variety of visual styles. Information was restructured into strict categories based on top level services. Consistent navigation aids such as quicklinks were designed.
The language of the site was re-designed to offer a friendly more personal approach.
Domainz.net.nz is now a comprehensive tool for the support staff and users. The site has become a friendly, user focused help desk that still contains all the detailed information from Domainz in an accesible format.
