Kitomba salon & spa software
Brief
Kitomba, one of New Zealands major suppliers of salon and spa software needed a major upgrade to their online presence. Large quantities of information needed to be made easily accesiable to new and currentnew clients. The site had to fit with their existing image and marketing material. Fun, quirky but serious when it counts. The site had to fit into their own custom built content management system.
Solution
Reviews of the old website revealed some major navigation issues. Information needed to be connected in more common sense fashion. The language throughout the site also needed to speak easily to the user. Contextual navigation was used to enhance user paths.
The visual site design took cues from their logo and branding. Quirky images were used to show the fun side of Kitomba whilst a consistent structure and heirarchy helped users easily digest large amounts of information.
Outcome
Customer feedback from the website has been fantastic. Many commenting on the ease of use and understanding. The project was easily implemented into their existing cms by the development team thanks to well
structured markup.
